Vision and Values

The purpose of Immanuel Baptist Church is to foster excitement for Jesus that makes a difference.

At Immanuel we believe that God the Father is redeeming the world through the work of Jesus Christ and that we ourselves have been caught up into this work of redemption. As a people called and empowered by the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus, it is our goal to create a congregational culture that encourages excitement around the person of Jesus and real life-change as we follow him together.

We hold the following values as central as we pursue this goal:

•  Family Care: It is our hope and goal that all who join the Immanuel family will experience deep, life-giving friendships as well as care in times of difficulty and crisis.
• Engaging Worship: We strive to make worship services into engaging environments that help people connect with God.
• Missional Service and Support: We seek to join God in his redemptive work through our giftings, talents, and monetary support.
• Welcome to All: We believe that God loves all people and that we should too. We therefore seek to be a welcoming space for any and all people to engage with the gospel.
